Vice President of Mining Operations

We are looking for a Vice President of Mining Operations to oversee and expand our Bitcoin mining activities. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in the operational aspects of cryptocurrency mining, with a proven track record in setting up and managing mining operations using a variety of energy sources including geothermal, hydro, nuclear, flare gas, solar, and wind, in addition to traditional grid energy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategically manage and oversee all mining operations to maximize efficiency and profitability.
• Lead the design and implementation of new mining facilities, with a focus on leveraging renewable and sustainable energy sources.
• Ensure operational compliance with all regulatory requirements and environmental standards.
• Optimize existing operations through continuous improvement of processes and technologies.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and operational performance against business goals.
• Collaborate with the executive team to align operational strategies with corporate objectives.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with key vendors, technology providers, and energy suppliers.
• Lead, mentor, and expand the mining operations team to support growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in managing large-scale mining operations, preferably in the cryptocurrency sector.
• Demonstrated experience in building and developing mining operations using various energy sources including geothermal, hydro, nuclear, flare gas, solar, and wind.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
